Textbook Cabernet

The fruit for this 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Oak Knoll, Rutherford, and Oakville appellations.  This deeply colored and richy textured Cabernet from Jon and Susan Pey will reward mid term cellaring.  90 Points, Taylor & Norton.

Chateau Lucia

"This tiny garagiste estate of 7.5 acres produces fewer than 1,000 cases of a 90% Merlot / 10% Cabernet Franc blend. Stephane Derenoncourt is the consultant, which almost guarantees the fabulous quality that has been emerging routinely from this tiny property. The 2004 Lucia offers super-ripe blueberry and blackberry fruit intermixed with notes of charcoal fires, terrific texture, and a flamboyant, modern-styled personality. Complex and authoritatively flavored, it should drink well for 12-15 years. 91 points, Wine Advocate"

2010 Esk Valley

Gimblett Gravels

"Blended of 74% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Malbec, the 2010 Gimblett Gravels Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon/Malbec gives a very deep garnet-purple color and presents aromas of freshly crushed blackcurrants, mulberries and warm plums with touches of Mediterranean herbs and pencil shavings. Medium bodied and very well balanced even at this primary stage, it offers a good amount of juicy berry flavors adeptly supported by a medium to firm level of fine grained tannins and crisp acid, finishing long with a slight herbal lift. Drink it now to 2017+. Great value! 90+ points, Wine Advocate"

2010 Echo de

Lynch Bages

"This displays a solid core of cassis, raspberry and blackberry coulis notes, framed by a rather polished structure and lined with lightly toasted apple wood and anise notes. Offers good definition, with a violet note chiming in on the finish. A sleek, elegant Pauillac that relies more on purity than muscle. Best from 2014 through 2023."

91 Points, Wine Advocate.

Camp Meeting Ridge Chardonnay

"Sleek and elegant, with ripe, well-defined, subtle pear, honeydew and honeysuckle notes that sit easy on the palate, with enticing flavors that linger. Drink now through 2018."

   92 Points,
